BDE: R’ Pinchas Freund, z”l

We are saddened to inform you of the petirah of R’ Pinchas Freund, Z”l, a beloved mispallel in the Dezher shul who was known to many in the community. He was 76 years of age. 

The niftar was a businessman, but he was first and foremost talmid chochom, and he would deliver shiurim in the Dezher shul on 16th Avenue. He authored a Sefer, Shalsheles Pinchos, with pshotim al haTorah. 

At the same time, he was a most friendly person who would great adult and child alike with an infectious smile, and would give out candies to the children in shul. 

The levaya will take place at 7:00 this evening at the Dezher shul, 5620 16th Avenue, and kevurah will be in Kiryas Yoel.
