BDE: R' Mendel Steiner, 33

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of R' Mendel Steiner at the young age of 33.

R' Mendel, the son of R' Yakov Shia Steiner and son-in-law of R' Duvid Endzweig, was a well-known philanthropist who generously supported numerous mosdos, kehillos, institutions, and special causes.

R' Mendel had been unwell in recent years and, tragically, returned his neshama to its Creator this afternoon.

The Levaye will take place at 9:45 pm at Shomre Hadas. Kevurah will take place tomorrow at Har Shulem in Airmont.
