BDE: Mrs. Leah Gobioff, A"H

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Leah Gobioff, a”h, a longtime Boro Park resident. She was 76.

 The nifteres comes from a long tradition of mesirus nefesh for Yiddishkeit. Her father was the legendary Rav Yisroel Moshe Berman, z”l, the longtime menahel of the Stoliner yeshiva, and a longtime mechanech. Her mother was from the esteemed Kroizer family of Yerushalayim.

 She was born in Yerushalayim in 1945, and arrived in America as a young child.

 She was married to, ybl”ch, Reb Yaakov Gobioff, with whom she raised a beautiful Torah family, with children residing in Brooklyn, Monsey, and Lakewood—continuing the golden legacy of the illustrious Gobioff, Berman, and Kroizer families.
