BDE: Harav Hatzadik Reb Tzvi Meir Lichtig Zt”l

We are saddened to inform the community of the passing of a Gadol B’Torah and Rabbi for many years, Harav Tzvi Meir Lichtig who passed away at the age of 99 years on Tuesday night.

He served for many years as the Rebbe in a Queen's Shul and most recently as the Rav of Khal Bnei Avrohom on Webster Ave in Brooklyn.

Born in Poland in 1924, Rav Tzvi Meir Zt”l survived the horrors of the Holocaust and lived to share his deep warmth and strength with others. He was always known for his warm heart and smile to all congregants, always offering Divrei Chizuk to those around him.
