BDE: Harav Chaim Tzvi Halberstam, Z”l

We are saddened to inform of the passing of Harav Chaim Tzvi Halberstam Z”l, who was a grandson of the Kedushas Tzion of Bobov Hy”d.

Harav Chaim Tzvi, also known as Harav Chaim Hershele Z”l, was a son of Harav Shloime Rubin Hy”d who was a son-in-law of the Kedushas Tzion Hy”d.

He was born in Poland in 1935, and moved to New York following the Holocaust. He passed away at the age of 85-years old.

He is survived by his wife, Yblc”h, and children.

His Levaya will take place Motze Shabbos at 9:00 at the Shomrei Hadas chapel on 14th Avenue and 38th Street.
