BDE: Haga'on Rav Avraham Shraga Halevi Jungreis, z"l

We regret to inform you of the passing of R' Avraham Shraga Halevi Jungreis. He was 91 years of age, and spent his life learning Torah. 

The niftar was the son of Reb Aharon Jungreis, and was a direct descendant of the Menuchas Asher of Tchenger. 

He was a Klausinberg Chusid and was very close with the Klausenburg Rebbe zy"u. In his youth, he learned by Rav Aharon Kotler in Lakewood, and under Rav Michoel Ber Weissmandl in the Nitra Yeshiva in Mt. Kisco. 

As noted, the niftar dedicated his life to learning Torah, sitting and learning day and night. 

The levaya will take place on Motzei Shabbos at the JFK Airport: 75 North Hangar, Jamaica NY. Gate #14. Kevurah will be in Eretz Yisroel.
