BDE: Bostoner Rebbe of Boro Park, Rav Pinchos Dovid Horowitz, Zt”L

  We are saddened to inform the petira of the Bostoner Rebbe of Boro Park, Rav Pinchos Dovid Horowitz, Zt”L, who was 76 years old.

  The Bostoner Rebbe, as he was known in recent years, became the rebbe of the Congregation Kehal Yereim Chust of Boro Park, after the Chuster Rebbe, Rabbi Yeshia Greenwald, Zt”L, Rav Horowitz’s father-in-law, passed away. 

      The Bostoner Rebbe was known as the Boston Chust rebbe after his father, Rav Levi Yitzchok Horowitz, Zt”L, passed away. The Bostoner rebbe’s mother’s name was Rebbetzin Reichel Horowitz, a”h.

 The Bostoner Rebbe, who was born in Brooklyn in 1944, is survived by his wife, Rebbetzin Sarah Horowitz.

  The Bostoner Rebbe’s levaya will take place tomorrow at 10am at the Chust shul, which is located at 1184 53rd St., and his kvura will take place at Har Hazeisim in Yerushaylim.
