As Summer Winds Down, Park Department Maintains Local 18th Avenue Park

Crews were seen in the 18th Avenue Park on Thursday morning, trimming shrubs and bushes and removing trash. 

When BoroPark24 asked the workers when the last time was that they were on site, we were told “about six months.”   

One area resident couldn’t be more glad to see the maintenance workers. “As someone who watched the park undergo a multi-million dollar renovation, I had hoped that the city would continue to invest in cleaning and maintenance a bit more often,” he told BoroPark24. 

“But the site of these workers is a welcome one, and I hope to see more of it,” he said.
