Apple Releases iOS 16.0, Many New Features Introduced

Apple Inc rolled out the newest operating system for its iPhone, available for download as of Monday. 

The new features include multi-stop guidance in Apple Maps, which had not been available previously, and the presence of widgets in the Lock Screen. These features are customizable, and users are able to choose which ones to have on their Lock Screen. 

The new iOS also features the possibility of deleting iMessages once they’d been sent—a very attractive feature that WhatsApp users have had for a long time now.  

Users can schedule emails to be sent at a later time, and set reminders to take their medication—among many other new features available on iOS 16.0.
