Amusement Park Summer Preparations Are Going Full Force!

Ever wondered about the jobs that keep things running behind the scenes? Some are truly fascinating! Take, for instance, the work done by the New York City Department of Buildings. As the weather warms up and the amusement park season approaches, they’re busy twisting, turning, and testing the exciting rides. 

This year, the DOB conducted inspections at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park in Coney Island located right near Luna Park. The team carefully checked the park’s rides and elevators to ensure everything was in top condition before the summer crowds arrived. It’s all part of making sure that visitors can enjoy the fun without worrying about the ride’s safety.

Luna Park is set to open on March 29 and Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park will open its doors on April 13th.
