Alarming Number of Carbon Monoxide Incidents in Boro Park

YS GOLD

Early this morning, Chaveirim of Boro Park was called to a home where the carbon monoxide detector went off. Upon checking the levels, the members got a reading of 400ppm, an extreme high and dangerous number.

This was just one of dozens of calls that Chaveirim received this week regarding irregular carbon monoxide levels. With Erev Pesach upon us, Chaveirim is urging the community to take extra precautions.

Ensure that your Pesach oven is properly connected, so there is no gas leakage, and do not block your oven exhaust by covering it with aluminum foil, as this prevents the proper escape of fumes from the oven.

Always ensure that you have a working carbon monoxide detector. They save lives.
