Air Quality Alert for Boro Park

By Y.M. Lowy
The U.S. National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Alert. It’s in effect until midnight on Thursday night.
The air quality alert is due to the massive Jones Road Wildfire burning in New Jersey. The fire has burned over 12,000 acres and keeps growing.
The air quality is moderate. Most people can go about their day, but those with breathing problems, older adults, and young children should limit time outside and keep all windows closed.
