NYC Taking Advantage of Empty Boro Park Roads to Install Speed Cameras

As New York City continues expanding its speed camera program, it seems like Boro Park is on top of the list of locations that are getting additional cameras.

Just a few weeks ago the city installed two new cameras at the outskirts, but in recent days they’ve added an additional few in Boro Park.

48th got one at 12th Avenue, in addition to the one at 9th Avenue that was installed a few weeks ago.

Other cameras were installed at New UtrechtAvenue and 51st Street, 14th Avenue and 48th Street, and 12th Avenue and 38th Street.
