Accident on Route 52 Causes Truck Overturn, Two Patients Transported

At around 4:30 this afternoon, as Route 52 near Woodbourne was beginning to fill up with the weekend visitors, a minivan heading toward Woodbourne collided with a cement truck which was heading in the opposite direction. 

The accident took place near the Klausenberger Camp 

This resulted in the truck falling over the embankment, and turning over on its side. 

Initially, the occupant of the truck was trapped inside. 

First responders were soon on the scene, and extricated the passengers, treating them on the scene. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to Catskill Regional Medical Center (Harris Hospital) in stable condition.
