A Fire Hydrant Gushes Water Across 11th Avenue and 60th Street

This morning, a fire hydrant on 11th Avenue and 60th Street began gushing water at full force, providing the many passing with a powerful and free car wash.
The FDNY responded to the problem and tried to close the hydrant spigot for some time, which was no simple task.
At the same time, the firefighters worked to unclog the drain on the street as it was backing up, causing further issues for drivers as the drain couldn't handle the surge of water due to debris plastered all over the grate - a usual issue for the streets of Brooklyn.
