100 NYPD Officers Recognized by 66th Precinct at ‘Medal Day’

This morning, close to one hundred officers of the NYPD’s 66th precinct were recognized by the police department for their exemplary service. 

Among the awards handed out were “supervisor of the year,” “cop of the year,” “cop of the month,” “auxiliary member of the year,” “civilians of the year,” “meritorious police duty,” and “excellent police duty.” 

A brochure distributed at the awards event read: “The following members of the service are being recognized with great appreciation for their extraordinary service, diligence, and dedication to duty within the 66th precinct.” 

Elected officials in attendance included Assemblyman Simcha Eichentein, Councilman Kalman Yeger, State Sen. Simcha Felder, and Ari Weiss.
