Jewish Man Assaulted in the Streets of Boro Park

A young man was the target of a hate crime on 13th Ave. corner 48th Street last night.

Surveillance cameras show the victim walking on 13th Ave. at approximately 1:00 a.m. when three hoodlums are seen entering the scene. One of them approaches the man and attacks him with blows to the face and runs off.

Boro Park Shomrim was alerted and responded immediately. Hatzalah treated the victim on the scene for minor injuries.

A shocking 67% of hate crimes in the year 2019 was credited to anti-Semitism. Residents of Brooklyn and beyond are worried about the uptick in hate incidents and are hoping for an increase in street security.
