Homeowner Wakes Up and Finds Armed Intruder in Kitchen

Boro Park – A Boro Park homeowner was shocked to find an armed intruder in his house when he was awakened by a sound Friday night.

The intruder entered the house on 11th Ave. and 54th Street at about 12:30 Shabbos morning and was prowling the kitchen, a large knife in his hand.

The homeowner, who had been sleeping in the bedroom, awoke and locked his door.
The burglar, who appeared to be Hispanic, fled the house.

A quick search revealed he had taken nothing. A home surveillance camera system showed him walking around the house.

The resident contacted Boro Park Shomrim and a police report was made.
