Multiple Stores Closed and Homes Without Electricity after Manhole Fires on 43rd Street

Residents are growing concerned as flames are seen coming out of multiple manholes on 43rd Street between 12th and 13th Avenue.

Other manholes have smoke rising out of them, and dozens of nearby homes and stores are currently without electricity. 

The FDNY is on the scene but no cause for the fires has been found yet.
